It looks so real. I am amazed.
i don't post my tattoos for the same reason ^.^
but i love how the lock sits 'under' the skin... i think it makes it look really personal, like it truly is your heart and you are the only one that has the power to it, as opposed to other lock and key tattoos that just sit there.
love it!
and i try not to post too many of mine for the same reason.
but i do like the concept of the lock under skin.
me and my g/f want to get matching ones so i think we're gonna do the key on me and lock on her.
This place is rife with art thieves.
i would expect that as a tattoo artist, you of all people would understand that someone might want to have a custom piece that no one else has but also want other people to see the piece they love so much
I have done some custom jobs on people (turns out its some of my best work too) but I don't post it up on here or my website. Two reasons really,
1: because if im asked to do a one off custom job, I sell the original artwork to the customer and don't take a copy. It ensures that they have the only one. They can do what they want with it.
2: I have little faith in people not to just TAKE what they want for themselves without any regards for the artists rights or even the clients right to keep it original. It only takes one person to replicate it and ..... no longer original.
It is nice to see something done so well as your tattoo though and i can understand why you'd wanna show it off...it is a beautiful piece of work.

i have a friend how is totaly not creative and still he made his own tattoo
with some help of the tattoo guy but still hi did it and thought of it himself..
exactly, you don't have to be artistic at all to come up with your own idea, all you need to do is have an idea in your head and any good tattoo artist will able to help you put it into an awesome design.
the worst thing is when people come into the shop and go through the books and pick something off one of the flashes, they then have the same design as probably hundreds of other people.
yeah that true.. that the best thing about the tattoo artists..
hmm yeah that really stupid..
i myself want a piercing but even with that i'm thinking of piercings most people don't have ans stuff it's just nicer to have unique on..
